Bradley Tangonan
Creator/Director
Bradley Tangonan is a half-Filipino film director from Hawaiʻi and based in NYC. He creates visual narratives that center AAPI and indigenous folks. Two films, River of Small Gods and Wilder Palms, won Best Short at the Hawaiʻi International Film Festival. His work has featured in Nowness, Vimeo Staff Picks and National Geographic. He was named Best Emerging Director by the One Club for Creativity.
Justine Sweetman
Producer
Justine Sweetman is a creative producer based in Queens, New York. Her films includes My Black Alchemy by Justice Jamal Jones for MTV/Paramount (Promax Gold Award), As You Are (Short of the Week, Outfest), and How To Raise A Black Boy (Nowness, BFI Flare). She is the founder of Real New Collective, a production company and film collective championing women, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC creatives.
Tessa Travis
Producer
Tessa Travis has produced for a diverse group of directors on a variety of projects. Her film work includes two 30 for 30 ESPN films, That’s Harassment films by Sigal Avin and countless music videos. Her work has taken her across cultures, from the streets with the new wave of black skaters, or the garage rock scene in the US. She has explored a passion for social justice in ways that are equally fulfilling.
Jason Chau
Cinematographer
Jason Chau is a son of Vietnamese and Burmese refugees. His fascination with Cinematography began at age 15 when he borrowed his mom’s camcorder and shot short films with his friends in a small town in Mays Landing, New Jersey. In 2017, he joined the International Cinematographer’s Guild Local 600 and recently has been awarded the ICG Emerging Cinematographer Award.
